GLOG Class: Lab Rat

What is a mech? A mech is a reflection of humanity, a god made in Man's own image. It gives us comfort to have something overseeing us - the Statue of Liberty, Colossus of Rhodes. By giving them human form we ensure that we are our own masters. By giving them life, we elevate them past mere symbols.
d4 hit die, d10 mech hit die. Pick or roll 2 visual traits for your mech:

- Animalistic

Engineered Human: You're an experimental project to minmax human biology towards mech piloting alone at the expense of everything else. You have minimum charisma due to heavy cyborg modifications and/or being constantly drugged-up. You don't sleep. You can only digest a special nutrient paste they make just for you. You must always attack first when a battle starts, even when surprised, this would happen outside of the mech too if it weren't for the drugs.
Human Mech: The only mech you can pilot is one made for and from you. It is you, it has your DNA and grafted pieces of your neural tissue. It's a massive biomechanical monster, unsettling for most people to look at. But it's comforting for you. Being with it feels like simultaneously embracing your child and being a child embraced by your parent.
Muscle Memory: Your mech doesn't have a mind, but it does have your reflexes. When you're not in it, it flinches from danger, instinctively putting its hand up to protect itself, or yourself if you're within reach. This blocks 1 damage to itself, and causes it to take the damage instead of you.
Feast: Also by instinct, your mech will eat when it's hungry. If large amounts of biomass are available and it's hurt after a battle, it can consume and absorb it to restore 1d6 HP. Organic earth life as well as alien mechs provide useable biomass. If you're inside the mech when this happens, it also nourishes and heals you. This is the only way you'll ever taste anything besides that nutrient paste.
Alien Angel: Once per day, when you touch an alien, you can control it for one round. You don't act next round.
Apotheosis: You enter your mech and never come out. If they open you up to try and remove the human, they'll find you melded together flesh-style. If they try to cut you apart, you melt into a pile of goo. Remove the "once per day" restriction from Alien Angel.
