GLOG Class: Soldier
For use with the mech fighting rules here.
What is a mech? A highly advanced weapon. What is a soldier? A person given a weapon to wield, who is then in turn wielded as a weapon themselves. A good weapon is a weapon that's easy to wield, that does what you tell it to. A bad weapon is one that's so easy to wield that it can be turned against you.

d8 hit die, d6 mech hit die. Pick or roll 2 visual traits for your mech:
- Angular
- Bulky
- Industrial
- Rugged
- Rusted
- Decals
Unlike most other mech pilots, the physical stats for your meat-person are 12, not 8.
Start with 1 module from this list, you may swap it out for another before going on a mission:
- Ablative Plate: Has 6 points, when you take damage you may spend 1 point to reduce the damage by 1.
- Escape Pod: Your cockpit can launch out of the mech at will, away from danger.
- Radio Scrambler: When you turn it on, your party can't talk to each other, but neither can they. Enemy mechs need to test morale when you first activate it. Doesn't affect aliens.
- Advanced Gyroscope System: Removes penalty for maneuvering the mech in zero gravity. Also prevents the mech from falling prone if you don't want to.
Soldier class templates:
A: Mass Produced, Armed to the Teeth
B: Overwatch, Hardened
C: Rank Up
D: Synchronized Strike
Mass Produced: If your mech gets taken out, you can get a new one just like it within a few hours instead of waiting for it to be repaired, though you lose any unique weapons or modules it had.
Armed to the Teeth: Your mech has one of every standard-issue weapon (autocannon, rail gun, missile launcher, flamethrower, sword). You can attack with two different weapons each round instead of just one.
Overwatch: Once per round, when an enemy moves into or out of your line of sight, you can make an immediate ranged attack against them, outside your normal turn.
Hardened: You're used to grueling conditions and can ignore the effects of fatigue for 1 day per Soldier level before it sets in.
Rank Up: You now have 2 recruits, level 1 Soldiers who follow your orders.
Synchronized Strike: When you attack an enemy, you can have your 2 recruits also use their attacks for the round against that same enemy. If any of you hit, you all hit.
